Every year in September, our associates roll up their sleeves and give their time and energy to make a meaningful difference across the neighborhoods we serve. Whether it's lending a hand at the local food bank, supporting community well-being initiatives, or fixing up homes for families in need, together, we're making a difference. Spotlight on Volunteer Activities Denver Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver Associates partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes and contribute to their mission of providing affordable housing in the Denver area. Cowell Elementary to Partner with Wholly Kicks Associates helped fit and distribute shoes to children in need, ensuring comfort, dignity, and style for every student. From the early setup to the final fitting, each child received individual care and attention. Food Bank of the Rockies A team of associates across various departments came together to support the Food Bank of the Rockies, helping to package and prepare meals for families across the region. Colorado Springs Tri-Lakes Cares Tri-Lakes Cares works to reduce food insecurity, prevent homelessness, and improve access to healthcare. Our associates helped support their mission through hands-on service. Partners in Housing This nonprofit offers one year of transitional housing and support services to families at risk of homelessness. Our team was proud to help them in their goal of promoting self-sufficiency. Early Connections Learning Centers Dedicated to high-quality early education for children aged 6 weeks to 16 years, this organization received our support during a day of service focused on youth development. Our team was proud to help them in cleaning and organizing their space. C.A.S.A. of the Pikes Peak Region C.A.S.A. recruits and supports volunteers who advocate for child abuse and neglect victims in El Paso and Teller counties. Our teams were honored to assist in their powerful mission. Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity Associates contributed to building homes and hope for families in need through this vital local Habitat for Humanity chapter. Pueblo Pueblo Community Soup Kitchen Associates helped prepare breakfast and learned more about the Soup Kitchen's ongoing food outreach efforts. Our team was proud to support the essential work they do to feed our neighbors in Pueblo. Buena Vista Ark-Valley Humane Society Associates supported this vital animal welfare organization through volunteer work at the shelter, where we helped care for animals waiting for adoption. La Jara and Alamosa The Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley At the Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley, our associates cleaned the facility, packaged food, and assisted in distributing supplies to the local community. Care & Share Partner of Feeding America At Care and Share, a regional distributor for Feeding America, associates packaged items including drinks, spices, candy, and nutritional goods. The team also wrote expiration dates on items to ensure safe distribution. Eagle Eagle River Crew Cleanup Our team joined a group of volunteers to pick up trash along the Eagle River. Collectively, volunteers helped remove two tons of waste, keeping our beautiful environment clean and thriving. Rocky Ford Rocky Ford Theater The Rocky Ford team volunteered at our community-run theater, helping with concessions and setup for the evening movie. Without volunteers, this special community space wouldn't exist. Dove Creek Pioneer Senior Center and Monthly Food Distribution at the ROCK Associates helped support local seniors and participated in the monthly food distribution and delivering essentials. Telluride Telluride Food Bank to Partner with Angel Baskets Associates partnered with Angel Baskets, an organization that connects people who want to help with those most in need. The team worked in the food pantry to distribute essential items and support efforts aimed at ensuring food security. Monument Community Banks of Colorado Shred Event The Monument banking center hosted a free Community Shred Event, giving residents a safe and secure way to dispose of sensitive documents. Events like this help protect against identity theft while supporting our commitment to community service and financial wellness.
