Sarah has been with Community Banks of Colorado for eight years and brings more than 15 years of commercial and energy lending experience. She works with private and public companies in the general commercial sector as well as energy. Currently, Sarah is serving as the Interim Managing Director of Commercial Banking for Colorado and previously served as the managing director of NBH Bank’s energy division. Sarah was Vice President and a Business Banker with Wells Fargo where she developed a commercial loan portfolio with commitments of $75 million and deposits of $30 million. She attended the University of Colorado Graduate School of Banking and received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Northern Colorado.
Brian is Managing Director of the Government & Nonprofit Finance group and co-Managing Director of Commercial Banking for Colorado. He joined NBH in 2013 and has spent over 20 years in Investment Banking, Commercial Banking and Public Finance. Prior to NBH, Brian was a banker and manager at Wells Fargo, including Vice President in the Wholesale Government Banking division, working with large municipal entities. Prior thereto, Brian worked in Middle Markets, specializing in small-to-midsize governments, nonprofits and commercial companies. Brian is a volunteer and board member in local civic and charitable organizations and is actively engaged with the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Colorado.
Suzanne has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry. She joined Community Banks of Colorado in 2013 as vice president, commercial banking relationship manager for the South Metro team. Suzanne has extensive experience working with businesses on complex credit and financial service needs to include loans, lines of credit, SBA financing, deposit accounts, and treasury management services. In addition to her duties at the bank, Suzanne is actively involved in various community organizations including the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, Platt College and Colorado Advance Manufacturing Association (CAMA). She is the 2017-2018 Board of Directors Chair for the Aurora Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Board of Directors for both Platt College and CAMA.
Ed's focus is building relationships with middle market companies in Colorado. At Community Banks of Colorado our robust product set is designed to meet the depository, treasury management, payment processing and credit needs of companies. On the credit side we provide solutions for working capital, equipment, M & A, owner occupied commercial real estate, and investment real estate needs. Ed is pleased to apply the skills developed over the last 20 years, including his ability to understand a client's unique business and situation in order to provide outstanding banking solutions. Tom is a commercial real estate and C&I lender with 40 years lending experience. He earned his MBA in 2004, and pursued a Masters in Accountancy in 2011. He received an undergraduate degree in 1981 from Augustana College located in Sioux Falls, S.D., majoring in business administration. Tom has experience assisting clients with commercial real estate, C&I, agriculture, aviation, medical, manufacturing, franchise, and affluent lending. His primary strength is establishing long-term banking relationship and consistent delivery of banking products and services.
Ryan is a Senior Vice President with Community Banks of Colorado serving the Boulder community as a Commercial Relationship Manager. He has been in the commercial banking industry for 20 years and has worked with a wide variety of companies from pre-profit/pre-revenue to publicly traded global enterprises and everything in between. He has particular passion and expertise in working with high growth and emerging technology and natural food companies. By engaging as a trusted adviser and building lasting relationships, Ryan’s goal is to help business owners and entrepreneurs succeed. Ryan takes great pride in hosting informative and timely events, making introductions within his network and finding creative solutions to help companies succeed in all aspects of their business.
Ryan enjoys volunteering in the community, having served in leadership roles for several local non-profits focused on education and youth development and has been a head coach in Monarch Little League the past 8 years. In 2017, Ryan co-founded a community development group, Good People Cool Sh*t, focused on trusted advisors growing the entrepreneurial support system in Colorado
Ryan attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, earning an MBA and major in Economics, is married with three children and a rambunctious golden retriever named Oskar.

He has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years and has extensive experience assisting clients with commercial lending, depository, cash management and payment services which includes working capital lines, commercial real estate, equipment finance and business acquisition. Ryan’s primary goal and responsibility as a Commercial Relationship Manager is to manage all aspects of his clients’ banking needs while providing exceptional client advocacy and service. He functions not only as the clients’ relationship manager but also as a financial partner providing guidance and strategic consulting in helping them grow their businesses.
Ryan has served in a variety of leadership roles for local non-profits including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver and the Aurora Economic Development Council. Ryan attended Metropolitan State University in Denver, earning a BS in Aerospace and is married with six children.
Greg Alzner is Commercial Banking Relationship Manager with Community Banks of Colorado, a division of NBH Bank. As a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, Greg’s primary responsibility is to expand the bank's reach in the Greater Denver Metro community utilizing the experience and skills he has developed over his 21 years in the banking industry. Greg manages all aspects of our client’s commercial banking needs, including their more complex loan and/or depository needs. He advocates for his clients and consults with various internal and external business partners, focusing on assisting clients to successfully meet their business goals and needs. Prior to Community Banks of Colorado team, Greg was with Wells Fargo for four years as a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager covering the South Metro Denver market. Greg’s first seventeen years in banking were based in the metro New York City market. Greg is a graduate of Colorado Bankers Association’s Bank Advocacy program.
Greg graduated from Fairfield University with a BA in Psychology and concentrations in Economics and German. Greg also enjoys hiking, skiing, hut trips, rafting, camping, and exploring everything Colorado has to offer.
Shane is a Senior Vice President with Community Banks of Colorado focusing on Commercial and Industrial clients throughout Denver and Colorado as a whole. He has been in the financial services industry for 25 years. Shane has extensive experience managing his client’s complete banking relationships: loans, lines, SBA lending, depository and cash management needs.
Shane graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a BS/BA in Finance and from Regis University where he earned his MBA. Shane thoroughly enjoys Colorado’s outdoor activities such as snowboarding/skiing, hiking, running, and golfing with his wife, son and two daughters.
