Banking Center Manager - Cortez

COMMUNITY BANKS OF COLORADO currently has a full time position opening for a Banking Center Manager in its Cortez Banking Center.  Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implements bank's policies and procedures.
• Promote goodwill and generates new business.
• Examines, evaluates and processes loan applications.
• Resolves account problems.
• Maintains up to date audit information.
• Leads branch staff to attain goals set by executive management.
• Responsible for branch staff development and growth.
• Prepares staff performance evaluations and sets goals.
• Is responsible for overall direction of branch.

Qualifications:

• Strong business development and customer service skills.
• Consumer lending background -- small business lending experience a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years banking experience
• Minimum of 2 years as a Banking Center Manager or comparable experience is preferred.

PERSONAL BANKER III - SALIDA

The qualified candidate will be responsible for performing a combination of responsibilities, including handling routine financial transactions like deposits, withdrawals, advances, payments, etc. Additionally, retail responsibilities include referring bank products to new or established customers, performing all levels of customer maintenance, opening new accounts and completing general branch operations' duties as assigned.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interviews customers to obtain information and explain available financial services such as savings and checking accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts and Certificates of Deposit
• Answers customer questions and investigates and corrects errors.
• Verifies customer information by following bank's Customer Information Program and USA Patriot Act.
• Processes loan applications.
• Promotes and sells bank products and services such as time deposits, checking accounts, and consumer loans.
• Delivers quality customer service by greeting and responding to customers promptly and courteously.
• Responsible for adherence to bank's operational compliance and security policies and applicable state and federal laws.
• Performs routine teller functions in addition to new account, sales and customer service duties.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) years banking experience.
• Position requires previous new accounts experience (opening checking/savings accounts. IRA's and CD's) combined with excellent customer service skills.
• Must be comfortable in a sales and service atmosphere and willing to market and cross sell all bank products
• Solid knowledge of Jack Henry and banking policies and regulations

$11 to $12 per hour DOE

Teller - Crested Butte

TELLERS are responsible for delivering the "Client Experience" by providing excellent client service with each interaction while performing routine Banking Center and Client service duties. Tellers introduce clients to new products and services, and generate leads for other members of the sales team to close. Each Teller has specific sales and service goals to achieve while balancing operational duties to ensure transactions are handled accurately and efficiently. Tellers will complete all basic transactions for Lobby and Drive up clients and demonstrate basic proficiency with our systems, have basic bank product knowledge, refer clients to Personal Bankers and assure compliance with all Bank Policies and Procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and to perform tasks with accuracy.
• Solid knowledge of Jack Henry and banking policies and regulations.
• Solid ten (10) key calculator and computer skills.
• Ability to keep information confidential and to remain calm under stressful situations.
• Basic accounting knowledge, i.e., understanding debits and credits.
• Two (2) years banking experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
